This would be a great "Wanted Poster" of all the usual suspects. I'm sure you know most of these ex convicts. From left.... Mike McKown, Tom Petitpren, (worked for Smokey Yunick and Crane cams), me, Bob Gregory, (probably knows more about 65 396 cars than anyone), John Hinckley, Bob Jorjorian and Art Armstrong. This was at the Florida NCRS event about ten years ago.

If that was 10 years ago (2007) it was the year before I started attending (bought my '61 in August of 2007). I recognize many of the names and faces. Bob Jojorian is still running around locally in Central Florida and has helped me with some 63 stuff....

Joe Ray was there too but he wasn't available when the picture was taken. (actually, I don't know where this picture was taken. I stole it off the internet. It can't be the Florida event because the floor appears to be indoor/concrete instead of grass)

That can't be at the Winter Regional. I don't ever remember seeing Joe in his spaces there, asleep or awake. I always thought he just used the Winter Regional as an excuse, go to Florida and golf in January.

I was there (2012 winter regional)....this is Bob Kunz - the WCFB "man"....

He took me to school on carburetors in about a 40 minute conversation...learned more than pouring over service manuals for hours.. We've talked several times at length on the phone since then.

Yep, that's Tom in the second picture. The guy to Tom's left, in the gray shirt and shorts, is Paul, "Paulywannafly" as he's known on the Forum. I think the girl in the sunglasses, that Tom's talking to, may be Paul's wife (girlfriend/fiancee at the time).
