Proper valve stem length?
Anybody know what the proper valve stem length is for a 65 with steel wheels and stock hubcaps. Need length from where it comes out of rim to the top of threaded end. Thanks.

Mine are ~2-1/8" long and were the longest ones that the local tire shop had in stock. They extend past the hubcap just enough to get an air chuck on to inflate the tires but not much more than that.

Really should be an NCRS follower. They know everything including washer thickness . I hope your not driving this car. They are meant to be stored, polished, and admired. Good luck!
