Well I removed the body from the frame on my 1962. Was not very hard and no damage to the car or helpers. As I was looking at the frame and deciding what to do I would like some opinions please. Should I rebuild the original front suspension or should I install a new one like a Jim Meyers or similar. Do I install power steering if I update it. Please give me your opinions I'm trying to do this so I have a fun car to drive and enjoy.

What is it you want in the end? A fun car that feels like 1962 or a fun car that feels more modern. I'm a guy who likes stock so I'd rebuild the original and just upgrade brakes for safety. If you want something that feels modern then replace it all with something newer. As far as power steering, that's up to you. I don't have it on my stock C1 and don't see a need but some people want it.

You'll get lots of opinions here but ask yourself what exactly you're hoping to have first.

Go with Jim Meyer. No reason to add power steering unless you want to. It sounds like you already did the research.

Also, provide some pictures of the restoration even the tear down.
