Default Gasket Sets

Will be replacing all the gaskets in my '64. Does this look like the right set?

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...model/corvette

Also, what seals would I need to do the whole engine? Front & rear main seals I know off the top of my head. Are there other ones in the engine?

Thanks,
Patrick

the contents of the kit lists all the gaskets for the engine and some you may not need such as head gaskets and valve stem seals.

Food for thought! Many of us here on the Forum have put our trust in Felpro. Dennis

I use Felpro everywhere except the intake manifold gaskets and thermostat housing . I don't like the look of the blue gaskets on top of the engine .

I prefer the modern technology of the FelPro premium gasket sets. The oil pan and valve cover gaskets are ribbed silicone rubber with steel inserts for the bolt holes (torque limiters) and they are reusable. The head gaskets are multi layered steel. Last winter I assembled this '66 427 engine with the premium gasket set and that motor is sealed up tight.

The only drawback is it's $350 for the complete set and you can see the blue silicone gaskets sandwiched between the components.
