[C1] Door alignment

When I was building my '59 I had lots of fiberglass repairs on the passenger side door. After making the repairs I test fitted the door and had it properly aligned including the latch mechanism. I knew I would be removing the doors for painting, so I devised a method of returning the hinges to the correctly aligned position. On each door hinge I drilled two 1/8" holes which extended all the way through the nut plate. I took some 1/8" stainless welding rod, pointed one end of each rod, and stuck them through from the outside of the hinge. Now I could remove the rods and hinges, paint the doors (with the hinges attached) and align them with the rods.
