I've never heard of anyone fixing them professionally and its prob a dice toss if a fix would hold up. Originals show up on eBay and I've bought two for my 63...
They are very expensive if you can find one. I purchased a flasher update kit from Corvette Central (item #661092) and it works fine. You need the original switch that mounts on the parking brake.
I have no idea what that CC part is all about; it claims it can be used through 62...the later C1s had flashing #257 bulbs NOT separate thermal flashers...confusing.

Luckily the car had all the parts, I'll wait for a flasher to come available
I would like to bring this old post back for a refresh. Can anyone identify the correct 12 volt flasher for the E brake system. Here are a few choices. Tung Sol 619,642,and 650. This is for a 57.
I do
I take them apart and solder in an electronic flasher
WORKS EVERY TIME PERFECT
The 53 54 6 volt are hard to find and $$$$$$
If they dont work - they can be fixed
