Default '63 Corvette Engine # ?

Hi Folks,

I'm new to this forum & Corvettes in general.

I purchased a 1963 Vette Rdstr. She has a stock 327ci block, BW 4 spd. I'm not certain as to what the "Orig" HP rating was for this engine. The engine # is: F0707HC

Thanx in advance,

Russ

The HC engine code was used in 1965 327 powerglide non -Corvette cars and rated at 275. It is not a Corvette engine suffix.

I can't help with your avatar, but more pictures and details of your new car always generate interest here.

Congrats, and welcome.

RC would indicate a 1963 250hp 4 speed corvette engine so make sure the H is not a R.
