Keep breaking alternator brackets???
Friend of mine owns a 1966 BB 427/390 horse vette. Great car, but, one reoccuring problem. About every year the lower alternator bracket cracks. This is the bracket that bolts into the side of the head. We went to the Corvettes at Carlisle show this year and actually saw a cracked bracket on one of the cars for sale!! Is this a common problem? Are there any "heavy duty" brackets available? Thanks for any info. Keith
