Default A-A code 65 production

Was curious how many A-A code tuxedo black 65 convertible/hardtops with 4 speed 327/300 were made? Found a 55K mile car. Has both tops.
Am also a bit confused with the engine pad stamp on it of V29525 II30J. Help to decode it? VIN is 194675S107515. I think the seq. # would mean it was made late dec. 64 or early jan. 65.

Take a high resolution photo of the car's trim tag and post it here.

Default engine stamp

Here is a picture of the engine stamp (V29525 FII30J) and the trim tag. If I am reading things correctly the block is a 62 fuel injection 327. Correct?

Casting date looks like K213. Can't read the casting number and it almost looks like they are missing and maybe ground off?

well sorry to say the suffix code "J" was only ever used in 64 283/195 Chevelles with a 2 barrel carb and 3 speed trans. the casting date follows this as it reads Sept 21 1963

That is a factory flint engine assembly stamp with a very bad home made stamp.

BUMMER! The question is why would someone 41 years ago bother to stamp the V29525 in the pad when the J suffix would give it away? I can see why they would grind the casting # off as the 327 would have had a different # than the 283. The carter, intake, heads, and distributor all look to be from the original 300 hp 327. Here is an amusing part: the old fellow has a 58 vette with a 327 350 hp dated B185 (stamp is a HD suffix). So I would put the 283 in the 58 and put the 58's 327 in the 65! Thanks for the help....mystery somewhat solved!

Not sure if I need to start a new thread for this topic or not...this same car has the black auxiliary hard top. It is in mint condition. Funny thing is that it has a black vinyl top on it. I have never seen one like this before. Is this rare?

So would a 67 hardtop fit correctly on a 65?
