Default KO wheel threads

Do you treat KO adapter threads or just leave them alone?

I use "a ton" of antisieze on mine. The reason is to prevent rust and any galling that may occur.

When I bought the 64 many years ago it had repo KO's and the adapter threads were treated with a very light film of axle grease which made take off & mounting a snap and prevented seizing.

Put some anti-seize on the conical contact surfaces on the spinner and the wheel also, for the same reason - no galling to interfere with getting good clamping force.
