67 trans code
I looked at my trans code and believe it is P7T22. After checking I don't see how the T plays a part. Any advice would be most helpful.

How about this:
P = Muncie 4 speed
7 = Model year........ie 1967
T = December
22 = 22nd day of the month (December)

Thanks, wasn't sure about the T being December. That date works for me..
Also if you don't mind, My 65 trim tag says 437BA. Don't see that anywhere.

A lot of questions..........
For 1965 model year, TT 437 BA is white vinyl with black rugs for a convertible with no restrictions for various options.

Also checked the technical manual & judging guide, and the 63-67fact book. Didn't see it. Are the seats the only item white ?

That made me have a look at a 5010 Tranny I picked up A LONG TIME AGO kicking around in my shop--
Reads-P0127
I'm interpreting that as a Jan 27th 1966. Correct me if I'm wrong----

That says Jan 27th, but doesn't tell you it's a 66. 63-66 used that same format

Thanks 65. So that code is typical 63-66 correct ? I was just looking at my 66 & 67 JM & they state not to judge trans codes, MFG dates, or Vin derivatives.
A while back I spoke to a gent who told me that MANY trans didn't even get the VIN stamped on them. Various reasons he said, labor strikes, etc.etc. Seems plausible for sure.
I wonder how often the lack of a VIN stamp on the tranny occurred ?
Alot of variables I would say.
