Refuge for Florida or Houston
I have space for several cars, 4-5, if anybody is headed this way on I-65 from Florida and needs refuge.
If anybody from Houston needs temporary storage after the flood,, I'm more than willing to help as well at no charge.
I'd love to be on hand offering any help possible, but with a toddler, all I can really offer now is the space I have available.

Not sure I can really help, but I can offer some storage if needed
We are currently moving, but oak mountain state park is right near my house and has plenty of camping room. I can help with equipment for camping, food , etc. just let me know

I wish there was something I could do as well but from central Indiana there is not much I can do but pray for you all and for your families that you and your property are all spared. May God watch over and protect you all.

My older brother lives in Indianapolis area, and has since 1966. When I evacuate from down here I generally just drive up and stay with him. Big house on a lake with plenty of room.
After Katrina, I found people are now regularly evacuating up as far north as Memphis............and you have trouble even booking rooms there. So I generally spend one night somewhere around there and then make the drive up your way to spend the rest of my evacuation time. Plus if I ever have damage, I know he will ride back down south to help me at the house. Don't get to see family much anymore, so might as well make the most of the drive and evacuation

I personally witnessed what Ivan did to the Alabama coast 13 years ago. My advice to all in the path is to get the hell out of the way regardless of potential projections. Irma is already shifting more west than projected, so plan for the unexpected!!!

I have room for 4 cars in a pole barn, but IL is a long drive from TX or FL. If you are headed to the FunFest anyway, we are 1-1/2 hour away.

Glad to see there's still some good old fashioned offer for assistance still around!

Thanks for the offer, you're a gentleman! I'm inland, so I think we'll just get wet.
I'm stuck in DC trying to get home due to flight delays already...
In any case, I have plenty of meat, water, bourbon and 5.56!
Stay safe, everybody.

Sounds like you are fully stocked as long as you can keep the power on. I assume you have a generator! Good luck and cheers! Apparently bourbon is a valuable commodity during such storms.
