I found an aluminum GM intake with 3979851 stamped with a 8-23-67 date, could not find any info on this piece. Any ideas what was it used for?
Thanks.... Ric

Anything with a late August '67 date would not include C2 Corvettes, whose production ended in July of '67.

Ric, are you sure the number is not 3919851? That is an over-the-counter replacement manifold for a 68 L88 Corvette. It was never used on a production line L88 so it has no real significant value other than its not a common item to find. Fyi Bill

Thank you NightshiftHD, it is amazing what you can learn on the internet when you use the correct no., very sad that I can't read my own handwriting.

Its really only of value to someone who's building an L88. L72 guys (like me) would not likely have any use for it as our 5069 manifolds work better, especially for street use. Bill
