Time to move on
I sold my 67 last week and it was shipped today, heading to LA, California. It was(is) a great car and the new owner loves it. Time to move onto the C7 section but I'll poke my head in here on occasion.

So what are you looking for in a C7? It's a buyers market now. One local dealer had 38 the last I heard and they were moving slow. Please let us know what you buy. Good luck and don't be a stranger.

I could't decide between them for many years and went back and forth. Now I don't have to worry anymore.
PS: But you also have twice the work along with twice the fun.

yup - a '67 and '06 here. Can' swing a C7 at this point, and prefer to wait to see the styling of the C8 anyway!

Rick, think about a C6 ZR1, there are a number of them on the market selling for less than 1/2 of the new price with very low mileage. They didn't make many and out of the corvettes made in the last 20 years, a ZR1 is my favorite. Check them out prior to making your choice.

Good luck to you Rick with a C7. I check the C7 forum often and there are problems with it just like the C6's. Seems the A8 automatic trans is a major issue with torque converter failures ruining the trans filling it with metal causing replacement. They have a sticky for that issue alone.
Something about the engine running in V4 mode lugging the engine and causing the problems. The 14 C7 A6 auto is ok I believe, just the 8 spd auto 15 and up.
Think if I was to spend 40k and up the car would have to have a bumper to bumper warranty to cover nearly anything.

That's a beautiful 67 Rick. You will miss it. See you over in the C7 section. They are great cars. The Z06 is a beast. Good luck with your next one. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.

It indeed was a beauty, especially the photo in front of the house is a price winner. We'll miss ya in the c1/c2 section.
Enjoy the c7 and hope you tune in every now and then
