I really doubt the website is anything sinister. I suspect they are using the number of hits to help increase advertising revenue. I could be wrong but it seems pretty innocuous to me. I enjoy helping a "brother" out.

Have you seen the All Star Game voting and how that works, you can vote 35 times per day or something ridiculous like that on mlb.com.
It's just how it is. We are trying to help a fellow Corvette owner win, period. You don't have to if you don't want to, but I really don't think anyone is going to do anything with your email. They haven't asked for any other info like many other places.
I'm going to keep voting, we only have a little bit left, and even though I had a Camaro, I want the '66 to win...
