I have a 65 coupe that has all of the e-brake cables, pulleys, springs, etc... all the way to the back calipers. When I pulled the wheels/rotors off, the only part of the e-brake present was the backing plate.
Does anyone have recommendations on where I can purchase the complete set of shoes, springs, pins, etc for the back hats? Preferably in a kit of some sort.
I used Van Steel in my ‘66 this spring. Top quality SS stuff from nice folks.
Good luck!
ETA: I was able to drive down on a Sat afternoon with my son and they allowed me to take the parts on credit because, “the gals that work the counter aren’t here today.”
Nice to know people still trust others and make top kit!

You’re thread is titled “emergency”. Don’t read a lot into that. I just redid mine and it won’t stop the car in an emergency, best you can hope for is to slow it down. Better to call it a “parking brake”.
