Default Question about power window conversion

I completely rewired my 65 Convertible with an entirely new reproduction harness, and since the car was opened up, I figured that I would convert it to power windows. Now for my question. Do the power windows stay energized with the key in the off position (this is what is happening on my car). The rewiring process was pretty straight forward, even with the window harness which has a spot to plug into on the fuse block. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Power windows operate in any key position on a 65.

Thank you, I sort of recall something like that but wasn't sure & just wanted to make sure that there was no errors on my part.

Depends what cavity in the fuse block you plug the power window harness connector into - some are "hot" all the time, and some are "hot" only when the key is "on" (same way they managed it in production).
