To whom it may concern. This past August I made my trek to Corvettes at Carlisle. I saw 4 of the 20 L88’s produced in 67. There was a black one on display, that stated it was the only black produced in 67. This past Saturday I saw a black 1967 L88 on display at the Hendrick Heritage museum. It was not the one at Carlisle.....were there more than 1 black one produced?

I am NOT an expert, but I think "the" black car has a blue stinger, is a roadster, and is the Tony DeLorenzo RACE car......if so, it's authentic

Well not to doubt you guys but I’m sure since L88 don’t come up for sale too often and there were two other shops who built 427 67 Corvettes and Rick likes black cars maybe he had one built until he can buy the real one

Thanks NW Man.... with 32 1967 Corvettes in his museum, I would think the icing on the cake would have been what I consider the Holy Grail of 67 which would be the L88...My issue is that don't say it is an L88 (one of 20 and only 1 black coupe) and it's not....

He’s got more then that. Been though it once my self just breath taking. But the one guy told me he has three other wearhouse filled with cars.

I am confident that I will never see any other collection like that in my lifetime...just not the Corvettes but the Camaro's and other muscle cars on display.
