Done deal, I own it
OK, I bought the Silver Blue 1964 coupe in Denver (where I am now).
The car is great, everything checked out.
A few (very few) minor (very minor) issues to deal with.
The car drove and handled really well on these rough Denver streets. It was smooth and solid at interstate speeds.
The car has 850 miles since the restoration, but someone clearly spent the time to sort this car out.
It will be shipped to north Alabama, and should arrive in the next couple of weeks.
This search has been quite a journey, and I really appreciate all of the helpful hints that I got from the forum along the way.
This is a picture of the salesman and me just after we completed the paperwork. More pictures later.

Congrats on the end of part 1 of your journey.
I hope it is everything you want it to be.

Nice. If the carb is jetted and tuned for Denver, you’ll need to change it for your lower altitude in Alabama. You should also notice a little more power at the lower altitude

I would tell that salesman to get his azz off my new car.

Plenty of miles to bond with your machine... get to know how it handles... how it feels... Break it in.
Don't be one of those owners who parks it in the garage and "wishes" it wasn't so nice so they could drive it more. Burn some miles!

But once the baby gets home, she will get driven. That is why I bought her.
