Default Thanksgiving

If you are traveling like many be safe

I would rather eat turkey in a house than a hospital.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I'm one of the fortunate ones who is not going anywhere. I get to walk my dog and observe the traffic congestion with a smile knowing I don't have to deal with it.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Enjoy your day. Be safe out there.

For you city dwellers, here is what they look like in the wild. Shot taken from my bedroom window, about 300 yds. away.

We all have troubles in our lives, some more than others, but today is the day we give thanks for all the positive things in our lives, and all of us here have plenty to be thankful for.

Enjoy the the day and stay safe.

Just got back from a 3-day trip from Orlando to Williamasburg, VA to make a last visit to terminally ill SIL. 15 hour drive straight through one-way, holiday traffic was ridiculous ... too old for such things.

It will be a muted holiday but wife and I still have a helluva lot to be thankful for... One item is where we live, another is for our incredible health in our late 60's...

Another one staying home here. One daughter and her family coming over so low key. All the best for a Happy Thanksgiving (or as some call it, National Bite The Bird Day!) to all.

Our country is far from perfect but IMHO it's also far better than any other place. I'm thankful for the opportunities we have to do and become what we want.
