Default Sunday C2 detailing :)

It's been 12 plus years I've owned this car, & it still brings a smile to my face every time I open the garage. Just saying. There are other cars I drool at, but no garage would be satisfying without a classic Corvette in It! Time for a bigger garage, car lift, ect... I have a car addiction!! Cheers to all!!

I agree! It helps when you have a detailing buddy to run the hose...

Amen to that! There is never enough garage space.

If these cars don't get your blood pumping every time you see a nice example...then check the obituaries for your name...

I wasn't sure it could be "brought back from the brink" to this level...
I'll try to have it down at Lakeland next month for folks to check out...

It took a long time to 'bring it back' as I was **** about finding original parts, NOS pieces, etc..

I will make an unabashed plug for NCM and Adam Boca though...they 'stood tall' through the whole ordeal...even assigning a split window owner as the claims adjuster... So, there was no justifying using original parts and sourcing rare one-year-only items...the adjuster, Robert Baker, "got it"...

Likewise for Burke's Corvette - they took a LONG time but I think the results speak for themselves. Tim Burke (the owner) did all the bodywork personally..

Sorry for the thread hijack - I don't think its TOO far off topic though.

Uninsured driver in a 2003 Escalade pulled dead out in front of me and I T-boned him.

He got a ticket or two and I got a trip to the ER.
New seat belts and perfectly operating drum brakes prob saved my life..

Still got my P-38 used for opening countless C-ration cans all over the Arctic while doing field geology for 30+ years, on a cord with my Hastings Triplet hand lens. Hanging in my living room along with my rock hammer.
