You did indeed.

Also gets me when some genius thinks he's gonna tease a scammer by saying he'll show up with cash, flashlight and mirror to inspect a car that is obviously a scam. Hardee-har-har. Now the villain has an email address with a known live body at the other end he can sell or use to hack into systems. So, the genius is thumping his chest about how he 'called that guy out' and duped him.

Meanwhile the scammer has sold the email address to 20 other people who use it nefariously.

Sounds like they might have"salvaged titles". Cars that were in crashes and had to be totaled or cars in floods would also have " salvage titles" They will not tell you it is a salvaged title until all the papers are signed and you handed over the certified bank check. Then they hand you the keys and car title that says "Salvaged" That is why the car is sooo cheap and looks like a deal. Bought a 2006 Ford that way, learned my lesson the hard way.

They don't have the cars. All they have are pictures. See how easy it is to copy and past a picture?

I could run an ad on this car, ask $5,000 for it, ask for a $2,000 deposit and probably "sell" it a 100 times.

I could run an ad just by copying Botyeguy's avatar.

"For sale. 1967 Corvette convertible, blue, numbers matching, need cash so my loss is your gain. $29,000 OBO. $5,000 immediate deposit required, full payment due prior to delivery."

Greetings, I am very interested in this car and I have the deposit in hand. I would like to show up with cash, flashlight and mirror to inspect it.

Please PM me if Ray doesn't want it - I have cash in hand and a trailer. I don't even want to inspect it.
I'm really, really desperate for a super bargain and will schedule the pick-up around my Mensa meetings...

All deposits will be handled through Walmart Fast cash.

Send money today because Wally World never closes.

First one with the cash gets this nice car for 1/2 price because I dont know anyone close to me that may want it for 50% off.

Please hurry as I need the cash to buy this car

By all means send a deposit. The goal is to collect 100 deposits by midnight, tonight. It's for the children, you know.
