The plant had been closed for ten years. The young SACE Corvette Club were on a raod tour driving Route 66 from Santa Monica to Chicago. On the way they stopped in St.Louis to visit the old closed Corvette Plant. Former plant workers joined the visit to tell stories.

All the SACE members were allowed to noodle around the plant and most found something to take home. Small parts.

His "Restoration & Technical Guide" books are priceless with information.

If I remember correctly there was a time when all of his "raw" notes and pictures were going to be released/sold but then were held up by some relative or something like that.
Wonder if any or all of his documentation ever got released.

Note the pocket protector. The ball point pins in that era always leaked and ruined your best white shirts. You could tell an engineers as they always had one. I still have a couple.
