Default Interesting stuff.

I ordered the Shipping Data Report for our '67 Coupe from NCRS and it just came in the mail. It says the selling dealer was in El Cajon near San Diego. We bought the car from an elderly gentleman near San Diego six months ago. We live about 95 miles north of San Diego, so now I'm wondering if this is the furthest it's been from home.

Randy - That's pretty cool. It's always nice to find interesting information about our cars.

My shipping report showed that my car was originally sold at Rosenthal Chevrolet in Arlington, Virginia. That's where my dad bought his '61 and '62 Impalas when I was a teenager. I was in that dealership many times back in the 60's. Never imagined that I'd own one of their cars 50 years later.

Can they do the same for older cars like my 62? It's a California car.

What's the charge from NCRS. for that?

If your 62 is serial # 6000 or later, they have the shipping report. The price is $40 for NCRS members.

My 67 was orginally sold at Rosenthal - to my College roommates parents, who gave it to him as HS graduation present!

I have the original bill of sale from Rosenthal!
