Great looking combo, but I'm a bit confused. You mention considering going to a 496 stroker, but then talk about going with an overbore to about 440 cubic inches. Which is it.....440 or 496? Thanks!!

Several months ago I asked here who's the most respected crank and rod builders. I'd only heard of Scat and Eagle to that point. Some of they guys who build killer engines said they had Callies and at the time said I should just go with a stroker crank since it doesn't cost any more. My engine builder, right or wrong, was concerned that the block may need some clearancing for the stroker Callies. So i just decided to stay with the stock 427 stroke. The extra cubes are from the .070 over pistons. Its a bored 427 four bolt main L72 block. I think the dyno requires using their headers with oxygen sensors etc so it'll be a while till I see the ceramic coated exhaust on it. Thanks for the interest.
