A friend/customer's 63 FI coupe will be in Super Chevy
My eye doctor, who started out as a customer and eventually became a close friend, has a 63 FI coupe which will be in SUPER CHEVY soon.
Some guy from Mustang, OK was given credit for restoration of the FI unit.

I read that story today. It's interesting that they requested PS on the original '63. I guess since the details were sparse given the newness of the redesigned Vette no one knew that it wasn't possible to install it with the FI engine configuration. The replicated car is pretty sweet. Dennis

My first 63 was just like this, silver blue/dark blue with FI. I think that it had 40,000 when I bought it in the early 80's. Sold it to a guy in TN and it went on to get Top Flight. I'll see if I can find the VIN among my old papers. Perhaps the same car.

I saw this car in the flesh, one time as it passed me going the opposite direction as I was riding my bicycle across the Route 66 bridge at Lake Overholser in Bethany, Oklahoma. As an aside, I started as an auto mechanic at Ayers Chevrolet, but not until 1981.
