Can you install engine and trans with linkage on trans at same time c2?

Eng and trans yes, but no shifter or shifter mount

I wasn't able to get the engine and trans back into my wife's 67 with the fuel pump or LH motor mount on it. Had to remove both, along with the oil filter canister. Maybe, if I wasn't doing it by myself, it could have gone a little better!

Engine tranny and engine mounts no distributor starter fuel pump or linkage, put the rest on after. jack front of car up and have a cherry picker with a long boom. drop engine in at a steep angle and rotate flat when installing, so have a chain with adjustable threaded rod to rotate as needed ,worked great for me 8 times big and small block. just my opinion though.
