Default Do you know anything about Bresee Chevrolet upstate NY?

I posted this a little while ago in the Northeast section of the forum and got no replies- a lot of views, though. I figured I would try it here.

Bresee was one of the oldest dealerships in the NY area. It was located on Old Liverpool Rd. in Liverpool, NY. It was purchased by Burdick around 2011. My '66 was delivered to and sold by Bresee in 1966. I'm trying to gather info on the dealership which may lead to getting info about the car. I'm looking for the car's history pre 1995. I was lucky enough to have been able to get in touch with the father and son who restored the car. They were extremely gracious and sent a box loaded with receipts, and a photo album of their complete restoration. My luck was double-blessed, in that the person who bought the car from them (and from whom I bought the car) didn't have any foresight regarding the importance of knowing the car's heritage. He wanted nothing to do with the history of the car. His loss my gain.

Thanks to anyone who may have information or suggestions on finding a source.

Bresee Chevrolet was originally located in downtown Syracuse, from 1922 through the mid-1960s when it relocated to a newly constructed facility on Old Liverpool Road just north of the city. I purchased a few cars from them over the years, and my Uncle Bud Fisher worked there as a salesman for many years. As far as information on your Corvette goes, if you post whatever information you may have on it I will run it by the Syracuse Corvette Club. We have been in existence since 1968 and many members have Corvette knowledge & experience prior to that date.

I appreciate the response, "fyreline".

Last week I was in touch with the Syracuse Club via a Facebook chat. The gentleman with whom I chatted offered to bring up my search request at their next meeting (Feb 15th). I haven't heard anything from them as of this writing.

What info could I provide that would be useful? I have post 1995 info, and am looking for earlier. Also dealer info- scrapbook stuff, you know. As per NCRS Shipping Document the car was delivered to Bresee March 1 1966.

Thank you

I saw this in an expired eBay listing. Maybe there are others out there.
*EDIT* I erroneously indicated eBay, but in fact was an old WORTHPOINT auction

Someone was good enough to get back to me, unfortunately without anything I could use. Maybe Uncle Bud has something?
