64 Coupe: F060IRE, Fifth position is capital letter "I". Thanks in advance.

The RE suffix indicated the SHP small block at 365HP, solid lifter cam etc. The Flint code is 06 (June 1964) 0I (where the I indicates 1 hence day of the month is 01). So summary RE=365HP SHP 327 V8 and date stamp is for June 1, 1964.

Actually, you really cant tell what year the block is from the pad. You need the date code from the back to determine year.
