I have to get the top dome part of the dash instrument cluster out of the car to repair some holes the previous owner drilled into it. Anyone know of an easy way to get it out without disconnecting the entire instrument cluster?

The anticipation is worse than the job itself....here is some helpful info on the task. This is the time to put the fuses in at the ammeter, clock and cigarette lighter that GM neglected...
Search for a thread titled "C1 Fuse Points" for more info....don't skip this part - its important.
