GM still owns the car, it's in the GM Heritage Collection, and powered by an aluminum ZL-1 427 now. The XP-755 was built from the 1958 XP-700 Corvette show car, retaining the 58 frame, and XP-700 interior, bubble top, and body from the lock pillars back.XP-700
