I have broken my Corvette Antenna at the base. Does any one have any information on what is the best solution for replacing the antenna or possible fixing the antenna.
Before it was broken it did not function 100% it would not go up and down with out manual help.
I assume power antenna. Buy new (not 100% correct) or have it restored ($$$). If you have side pipes it's fairly easy to replace. More difficult with under car exhaust.
Greg Thompson does a great job on the power antennas. He also produces correct mid-year exhaust clamps in 2" and 2 1/2" with 5/16" rolled threads. c2powerantenna.com gt66duntov@gmail.com

Greg reconditioned/rebuilt my original 66 antenna a couple years ago. He did a VERY GOOD job at his “stated” price- turnaround time very reasonable.
I restored my antenna myself and then set it to Greg to have him give a dip in his special wax coating. Came back looking like it was brand new and protected from the elements. Greg does awesome work on power antennas and has replacement parts like the mast and winding cable if needed.
If I am reading this correctly it sounds like the only issue you may have is that your mast is broken. If the cable still freely moves up and down just searc for a repalcement mast that screws into the cable end and you may be fine. There are quite a few antennas on eBay that are listed for just parts so the masts may be fine. Here's an NOS mast that lists all but corvette to give you an idea what the mast looks like: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1966-68...hal6bh&vxp=mtr
Check it out but I had heard the only difference is the top finial but not sure on that.
Good luck, Paul

I used Greg for the antenna on my '66 and couldn't be happier.
