Header Question

Are there headers that replace the stock exhaust and bolt right up to the side pipes, without modification to the exhaust pipes?

No, not without modifications. Headman make a set that are made for side pipes they are as best you can do.

The Hedman 68280 exit in line with the factory side exhaust pipe route, but you have to cut the head pipe and have a flange that is supplied with the headers welded in place. I’m getting ready to do this very install, and just finished priming and painting my headers this weekend...

I have had the Hedman side exhaust headers since about '92 with zero issues any kind. I had them recoated by Jet Hot 3 years ago.
