I did do some research before I bought the ebay items and determined all the c2 years use the same ones,, I could redrill the holes for these.. does anybody know whether a 64 fuel injection roadster uses different ones.. maybe you can direct me to the right part.
Your title is confusing. The flags you indicate that you bought are regular side flags for NON FI equiped Vettes. FI Vettes are long and thin and cost about $70. Do a basic Google search and you will see them.

the set I bought on ebay were advertised for a 62-64 but was actually for a 62-63. the pins on early ones are much closer together then the correct ones for me, 64-67. FI cars use the same flags. there are 2 colors of red, dark and light. I need light red since my car will be riverside red which is light red. havn't determined if the 2 reds were back in the day but new ones come in 2 red versions.
I did see that! But what has me turned around is the OP is saying something about putting the flags above FI emblems. I thought some one did their own emblems. Now I know that '63, '64 had the flags over the FI emblem. I had the '65 burned in my mind, having no flags. I'm NOT confused anymore. Dennis
The original seller is confused. The flag emblem that he has is for a 62. The part number is
3782000. (?) The error is not all his fault. From the beginning in 1963, the GM parts book incorrectly shows the 3782000 as correct for 62-64 Corvette. The correct side emblem for 63-65 is 3827158. (later changed to xxxx930 for the 66 model)
The 3782000 emblem for 62 does have a different center to center mounting pin location.
The correct color for all 62 and 63-65 flag emblems is orange/red. That color changed to more of a maroon for the 66 model.
