Default DB goldlines went on today

I know, everybody posts pics of their wheel/tires, but what hasn't been discussed previously is the radial LOCATION of the stripe on the sidewall.

Diamondback (James in sales) was great. "Just tell us where you want them".

I asked for 1 1/8" of blackwall between the bead and gold stripe.
They hit it right on the money.

These are the DB II's (Toyo) in 205/75R15. Hope they run as good as they look. Not worried.

Oh wow that looks absolutely stunning. Would like to put those under my 66 as well but it's still running on pretty much new tires and don't wanna change em yet.

Great look

Crap. Now my tires look like crap.

Very sharp. If you don’t mind me asking, what do they run? I remember generally pricy. Didn’t know Toya was an option.

They were $229 each... UPS from SC to CA was $158.

These look terrific ! I went with the DB Michelin X on my '66. I haven't put them on the road yet but they all balanced to less than 6 lb. of road force. 16 lb. is within spec.

The Diamond Backs get great reviews for good reason. They enhance every Corvette they go on. You all look amazing!

I have a set of gold lines on my 65 from DB tires, they are a great company to work with, I just ordered a set of red lines for my 06 GTO, little old school look .

They look very nice, the stripe color is perfect. Does DB make bias ply tires with gold lines and correct markings?

Thanks,

Mike

Nope. They won't even TALK about bias-ply tires; radials only, please.

Default Mop & Glo

Decided to give it a try and liked the low-sheen look it gives.

What will be interesting is: a) how long it lasts and b) will it need stripping to avoid build-up....

Great-looking tires. They really enhance your car color.
