I’ve never noticed that problem with my ‘54. Next time it’s on the lift I’ll take a look see...
If the doors were open on my '54 up on the lift they wouldn't close very easily. I didn't force them. If I knew I needed the door open when up I tried to remember to open them before I raised it, and once open I would lower it to close them.
So I have been researching Symmetric 2-Post lifts and was wondering what you are using to lift your C2. My 65 has side pipes, will also be lifting my 71 Coupe and 2003 2500HD Durmax.
MY choices so far are;
Mohawk A7 - Very Expensive
Challenger CL10 Series - $3,950
Bendpak XPR-10S-LP - $3,000 (looking hard at this one)
Funny but seven years ago there was a guy in Atlanta (CF member I think) that had 20 Mohawk A6 that were a dealership pull out for $2K each. Didn't have a garage so I passed, fast forward and a year or so ago I emailed him again and he just sold the last one.
