Front Fiberglass Clip Value
What is the average cost of a used original front clip in good condition? I know its tough to answer without seeing it. Lets say it has few minor cracks but is overall pretty good condition and would take very little work to get it ready to install.

Not enough info. Is this the entire original hood surround back to the windshield, and the other pieces ?
If so, its prob worth decent money as all that is available anymore it seems are the repros (LONG lead times to get the parts), SMC GM service replacements or "black glass" pieces or chewed up originals... Pictures help...

Yes everything is there back to the windshield but no hood. Top surround is new but the rest is original glass. Sorry I have no pics.

What year front clip, I am looking for original 63-64 front fender panels.

It would help to know what year? Also is it a complete nose, with headlights, core support, bumpers, or brackets, or is it just empty fiberglass?
A complete black glass 67 nose could be worth $5000-$6000 or more.

I just paid $5500 for a ‘66 front end from Sermershiem. Given the choice between a good original and repo for about the same money I’d have probably picked original. Typical supply and demand situation. That part is very scarce.

Originality is not an issue. Also time waiting for a new one is not an issue. I just want a nice piece that doesn't need a lot of glass work. I understand this is an old piece but by the time you get a new one shipped it close to $6000.

C1 ??
Anyway.....$2000-$2500 sounds about right if you go to Lee Bump Composites or Corvette Image and price out the parts and I think you're there. The few original pieces would have a premium but IMO that's offset with repairing cracks you mentioned and add'l fitment work.
An original surround is what everybody really has a struggle to find. Most wrecks are front end and the original surrounds get demolished...
Don't ask me how I know...

After some thot... I’m glad I went new. I’m not doing the glass work and I’ll bet my body guy has more time fixing my original glass than the new. Depends on your goal. The jig assembled front end from Sermershiem is beautiful. Best wishes.

This one looks pretty good from the pic, here in the local area, Virginia Beach for $3500.
No connection.

Here's one in considerably less pristine condition for $1300 in central KY.
Also no connection.

No worries, glad to help.
If you're looking to buy one, I or one of the other C2 guys here can look at the VA Beach one for you if you arrange with the seller.
There are some Corvette guys in Lexington, KY as well.
