Manifold pipe plug
I have a '67 coupe with an L79 engine. I recently had the valve seals replaced and am in the process of re-assembly. Since the car is pretty "bare-bones", (no A/C or PB) the threaded hole on the top of the intake manifold behind the carburetor has just a plain pipe plug in it (no special fitting). I am wondering if this is correct or is there a special plug required. This looks just like a 3/8" pipe plug you would buy at the hardware store with a square head. A picture of the correct plug in situ would be appreciated.

I don't really know what a stock plug would look like but a aluminum plug with recessed allen head looks better than a square steel pipe plug. Unless it's an iron intake then a iron plug with recessed allen head would be a better match. Most hardware stores should have'm.
