I've had a lot of health issues the past year, and therefore didn't get my '57 on the road yet, or get much done on my '63 other than start collecting parts for the impending body-off restoration. I decided I just wanted a car that I could hop in and drive that is turn-key, fast, and has A/C and a few other amenities. I had been looking at these about 3 years ago before I switched gears and bought my '57 project. I am just getting done with rehab (for rotator cuff surgery, not drug addiction, lol) and am at the point where I can shift pretty good with a 6-speed, other than having to use both hands to shift into reverse. Just by chance, this car, a 2001 Z06, is black just like my '57 and my '63 (which is primer colored currently). Once I get all 3 on the road, I may spend more time washing and waxing than I anticipated. Anyway, the car is an absolute blast to drive, and although it is turn-key, I will probably be tire shopping a lot sooner than I was expecting.

Good for you! Nice choice for a turn key to drive while farting around on the projects. They are quite fun to drive, even on short trips across the vacant parking lots. And I'm glad to see that I'm not alone with my (bad?)choice of the most unforgiving color.

Congrats C5 Z's are great driving Vettes and a lot of bang for the buck. Some of the 01's had an oil ring issue. Hope yours does not.
Beautiful car. Enjoy it.
