Using them as Intended
My '66 had a good weekend at the Raleigh, NC Good Guys autocross event
Won the Street Machine class, but also posted the 3rd fastest overall time including the Pro Class
On to the Nashville Good Guys "Music City Mayhem" next weekend

Fun! I gotta find something like that in SE Michigan. I'm sure there is something, just haven't looked yet.

Thanks
The front suspension is pretty much stock with the exception of semi coil overs, to adjust the ride height, and adjustable upper a-arms to be able to adjust the castor/camber.
In the rear, mainly good bushings and adjustable shocks. It still retains the steel leaf spring.

Hey Tom,
Thanks
Wheels are Vision Legends, and the tires are Bridgestones

Congratulations!
Basically stock Vette suspensions can do really well with sticky tires. Especially with a good driver!!
Thanks for reminding folks how these things got their reputation!

Great piece of driving. Thanks for demonstrating you can win without an exotic/super expensive rebuild!

I am sorting a 66 convertible and have wanted to have the opportunity to run her on a track to test and tune. As I searched venues, the sense I have gotten was that no track would let a convertible run without a roll bar which mine does not have (do not want to put one in either). I do not see any roll bars in the pictures posted. So is it possible and if so, where?
