Installed my MSD EFI Unit
The MSD EFI installation went real smooth. I used the factory steel line for the return line. I soldered a nipple on the Gas Tank filler neck to fit the return line on. I did not have to drop by fuel tank. Ran a new HP Fuel Injection line down the inside of the passenger side frame. Mounted the external fuel pump close to the fuel tank. Mounted the regulator and pressure gauge on the right front fender well. Mounted the ECU where the windshield wiper plastic water tank was on the left inner wheel well. Mounted the o2 sensor just past the headers on the left side. Installed a relay so my electric fan and Vintage Air step-up idle is regulated by my ECU. I fed in my engine specs to the hand help controller that plugs into my ECU. Started right up. Very little adjustment on the throttle body idle adjuster screw. Did not take long for the ECU to take over and self adjust. The installation took about 12 hrs. I am very happy with the ease of installation and performance.
