Default Help finding Headers

I am putting a 383 Stroker in my 65 with a TKO 600. I ordered a set of Patriot Headers H8025. I what mid length so I can run an exhaust under the car with elec cut outs to my side pipes. Problem is these headers will not fit a standard trans car. Contacted Patriot and Doug's, no mid length headers available for this application.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue and how was it resolved???

I to installed a 383 and a tremec in my 66. I used Sanderson shorty Headers. They dump out where you can route right over to your side pipe. I have thought about putting cut-outs and a secondary exhaust system as well, but now that I have driven mine with the Tremec 5-speed I am not sure I will do that. My side pipes are a lot quieter now going down the highway at 70 miles an hour in 5th gear. I am now running less than 2,000rpm at that speed. I did change out my rear end gears to 373 gears though.
Hope this helps you.
