Hi.
I have a 63 with after market disc brakes on the front. I’m wanting to install the original hubcaps but don’t know which rim will fit over the disc brakes and still accept the factory hubcaps. Can anyone please help?

A stock replacement 15x6 Rally rim for a 65' or 66' will usually allow clearance for the disc brakes, and the 63' hubcaps will fit these rims. The resulting combination with a typical 205/70/15 tire will fit well with room under the fenders.
BTW the stock 5.5"x15" 63' rims, if they are original, are worth more to a restorer than a set of Rally replacements. Identify what you have and you may be able to effect a trade with some cash as well as new rims.
I assumed he did not have original 63 wheels because the car already has aftermarket disc brakes....I prob shouldn't have. Yes, the 63 wheels are worth some bucks, but less than they used to be as Corvette Specialties now produces really nice repros and unlike originals, they haven't been dinged up or jammed off center.

thanks. Last question. Does spacing matter? When I go to order there are several spacing choices
thanks for all the info guys. Last question. How do I determine spacing. When I go to place an order for the wheels you have recommended, it offers me various spacing options.
The stock 1967, 6" wide Corvette rally wheel has 3 1/2" of backspacing. They fit perfectly on my '63 drum brake Corvette in 1969 and in 2008 when converted to C2-C3 Corvette front disc's they fit just as well.
If you choose a 6" wheel with 3 1/2" backspacing you should be fine.
