Wiper motor issues
Hi the wiper motor on my 63 is playing up again, It sometimes works and then does not turn off at all so i often have to pull the wires off it, I put a new switch in awhile ago but that made no difference and cleaned all contacts even took the top part off and cleaned and re lubed the gears that i can get at and replaced the washer bellows etc( worked for awhile but back to square one again) What is the best to find any faults or am i better getting a recon from one of the vendors as all my attempts have not worked, If that is the case how easy/difficult is it replacing one as looks like half the dash needs to come out(not like a full size chevy where they mount just under the windshield)
I need to get this sorted as living in England we get a lot of rain, tried rainex but only a temp fix

Had a look at them and they look good, Are they a simple bolt in and no cutting etc as the car is a very original low mileage one and i dont want to ruin it, also does it work using the old switch in same location, they seem expensive but a recon motor is a lot too! Thanks

As the Utube shows...the mechanism clicking into place....you must make sure that it is free to move and the contacts just above it are clean....
....or take it to Andre......he or his sons will fix it....
