63 Windshield Clip Hell

Default 63 Windshield Clip Hell
I have installed my windshield 2 times in an effort to get the molding to hold in place. The first time with all original clips and Corvette Rubber seal. The second time, same rubber however almost double the clips in the corners and a mix of old and new clips. It held pretty good at first however after a couple of drives it popped again in the lower corners.

Tips and tricks welcome!

Can you show in a picture where it's loose plus the clip arrangement on the channel.

The bottom molding is still on so you really can't see the clips.
