Default Retired in 2013 - never worked harder....

Going back after some details I ignored the first time on my 61. Have decided to dump the original gages - even though I have a new electric Tach and Voltmeter. Speedometer is locked up, Temp gage has only two positions - cold and boiling over. Going to order Dakota Digital RSX system on Monday.
Next step - Install the Classic Auto Air system I purchased 3 years ago.

My neighbors always say when they hear those pipes, spring has arrived. With a good amount of rainfall to wash away the road salt this past weekend and with temps in the 50's today, it was time for a ride.

I got to finally replace the suddenly, badly leaking fuel pump in my beloved '64. As it turned out, it wasn't all that bad, but I hate this procedure - car doesn't run any better, but less chance of sudden panic from flames emitted around the hood😁👍

Just went out and looked at my 67 ragtop and ran my hands over the shapely fenders, since I'm stuck at home suffering the aftereffects of my second China Virus shot.

So far I've been feeling like hell (tired with muscle aches) for more than two weeks. Finally, science has developed a vaccine (Moderna) that's worse than the disease!

I guess the wife and I lucked out. 1st shot [8:00 am] we both had sore arms at bed time [11-12 pm] and nothing else. 2nd shot 2/11/21 same sore arm for both of us and then she got the chills in the middle of the night. She turned the heat up to 77* and two blankets and her teeth were chattering. I wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat pool and made a beeline for the thermostat.

Chances are you'll be OK. Most don't have side effects, but a few of us do. My MD won't even admit that anyone has significant side effects, but the tiny sampling in this thread says otherwise.

I had no effects with the first shot. My wife complained of soreness and a little nausea.

From my family’s limited sample, Maderna 2nd takes 2+ weeks to get over while Pfizer has no side affects.

At last, exactly three weeks after getting my second Moderna shot, I feel more or less normal today. No more complete exhaustion, no more strong muscle aches. Now I only feel weak from lying around the house for three weeks, so time to start taking neighborhood walks, etc. and build back up to feeling normal. That's a hell of a vaccine Moderna puts out. My girlfriend got the Pfizer shots and had no notable side effects.

Knew I felt lousy and talking to my wife mentioned it had been two weeks and I should be feeling better. She reminded me it had only been 1 week . Maybe Biden and I got the same dose .

Felt bad for two days after my second Moderna. My buddy was sick as dog for three days after his. Took him a week to get over it. Not hearing many second shot side effects from Phizer. Makes you wonder if the Phizer is weaker or the Moderna stronger?
