Default Rear Hatch Hinges

So Im trying to remove the rear hatch hinges but I cannot get to the rear bolt inside behind the spring. Is there some trick to it ?

Help !!!!

What year? Do you mean the soft top compartment lid? Corvettes didn't have hatchbacks.

You can remove the rear springs in order to get better access to the bolt under the spring. ZIP sells a "1963-1975 Deck Lid Spring Tool" for $18 that will allow you to compress the springs and easily remove them such that you can get ready access to the bolts under the springs.
