are you talking about the male pins in the hood - rear of the hood?
Easy
remove the assy from the hood
The nut is welded to the pin
Take a Dremel and grind away the welds
Use an impact and take the nut off the pin
Reinstall - use couple drops of thread locker
Use your original or OE hood springs - the aftermarket springs are way too stiff
