At $31,700, I am sure that 65 is gone if it is as advertised.
I am not an expert, but $55,000 does not sound outrageous for the 64.

PS: Welcome to the forum. Looks like you are young compared to most of the C1 / C2 owners on this site. What state or area of the country are you from?? Got Old cars already?

Thanks! Yes new to the forum. I live in Northern CA actually.

My dad was a big "gasket head" so grew up around classic cars and boats. We partially restored a 1970 Chevelle together actually. I've always love these Stingrays and am starting to poke around to find one. Admittedly I don't have deep knowledge of them, which is why I am here. Would appreciate any guidance in where to find one. My price point isn't super high, but am in no rush!

Nice to meet you all!

If that $31700 is real on the '65 and it's not already sold, I'd jump on that like a duck on a June bug. Sounds way too good to be true.

That 65 is a steal, but I would check it very carefully. The price is almost too good to be true and there’s no such thing.

Now, that sounds more realistic. If it's too good to be true...

No, no, no, no, no ! Check the original ad as posted above. https://www.cleanclassiccars.com/196...ray-c-2013.htm This is a $69.5 car from a dealer, not a $31K car from "an individual".

STOP

There are thousands of internet scams out there. If it sounds too good to be true, it IS too good to be true.

I notice that this latest dealer is in the oil business.....probably on an offshore drilling rig and can’t get to the car....etc

Dont set yourself up to be plucked like a chicken. Walk away from these too good to be true scams

I’ll bet that if you searched the internet, you’d find the real ads from which photos were stolen.
