Forum Member Midyearvette Would Be Thrilled To Hear From Youse Corvette Bretherin
Frank.
Frank The Tank.
Knuckles.
The Big Chief In The Oh-Hi-O !
This guy is a Boss on our Forum. Bad news for all of us, Forum member Frank The Tank had a stroke a few months back and at the age of 70 ( I dealed with Frank before, I assumed that he was 36) he is relegated to a medical care facility. If you could please take the tome and send this guy in Ohio a card, a note, or just anything Corvette related it would surely keep "The Tank" in good spirits.

Ray, pm sent.
No last name is needed, just Frank room 355 will do. By now everyone there knows Frank, he's that likable.
Thanks to the moderators for their help.
Thanks to those who have already sent a card. They have been greatly appreciated especially by his family most of whom had never heard of the CF.
In case you missed the original thread about what has happened to midyearvette:

Just today I received a wonderful handwritten letter from Frank's wife Kathy. My God, the emotions that I went through, reading a simple handwritten letter … Kathy tells me that our old pal "Frank The Tank" is doing better, he can now walk with the assistance of an aide and that he remembers things/events/people just a little bit better now. If you have the time, drop this dude a note, he'll cherish it because after all, he has always had his share of fans.

Saw Frank this afternoon with several family members present. Everyone thrilled that yet another forum member who didn't know Frank stopped by to say hi today. Thanks J.M.

Hi group, I was reading through this thread and saw that Frank was in Columbus, and not too far from where I work, so I decided that I would just pop in and see him! Now, I've never met Frank, and didn't really know anything about him until I read this, but he sounds like he's been a good friend to Corvette people over the years. If people are willing to travel all the miles from Maine like Jack did, that's good enough for me...
After tracking him down in the "Bistro", where he likes to hang out, I met his wife Kathy, her sister, and Frank's sister. It was funny, at the front desk when I asked about him (and I didn't know his last name, only "Frank", the kind receptionist knew immediately who I was talking about. This is not a small place either, it has hundreds of people there, but he had already made an impression on her. I get the feeling that that is the kind of guy Frank is.
We talked for about a half an hour and then I had to leave, but what I nice guy. For those that know him, he seems to be getting better! He has the use of his right leg back already and they are hopeful that other parts of him on the right side will be coming around. I plan on going to see him again soon, and Frank's sister said that they would try to post some info on him. I got a picture with him before I left, but I'm not getting it to load. Will try to figure it out.
The Corvette hobby is whatever you make of it, it can be something you put little time into, or spend a whole PILE of time on, but I've found most people to be genuinely friendly and easy to talk to, and almost ALL of them are very helpful if you ask. I walked in, interrupted this little group and they welcomed me with open arms. Just another example of the Corvette family that has made good friends all around the globe. If you are the praying type, please keep Frank and his family in your prayers, he has a lot of work ahead of him.
